My Story

Since 1995

I am a Primary School teacher with over 26 years experience. I qualified in 1995 with a 2:1 Bachelor of education (Hons) degree from Southampton. I worked in several as a full time and, after children, part time teacher. I have taught across the whole Primary school age range, so am experiences in both KS1 and 2.

I am a mother of two children who have themselves struggled with certain aspects of the National Curriculum and I understand the worries parents have regarding their children's education, but are unsure how they can help.I have a wealth of knowledge of the areas children find hard and the barriers to effective learning.

At Go2 Tutoring, I aim to personalise every session to meet the needs of my students, whether it is to focus on areas in which your child lacks confidence and needs support or to extend/prepare them for SATs/entrance exams. Each lesson is flexible and designed to work at your child's pace to ensure skills are not only understood but fully embedded. I do this in the most engaging way possible - mastering the subject area and building lifelong, subject confidence.  The students and parents have been so happy with my approach and the results I achieve, that many have asked me to continue tutoring when their child has moved into another Key Stage. I have also worked with pupils that are being Home-Schooled to help build confidence and support the areas of curriculum the parents feels less knowledgeable about.

Whatever your child's needs, contact me to today to learn more about how I can make a difference.
